Agreement

These terms apply when you use the Citewise website and platform. By creating an account or using Citewise, you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the company you represent.

Your account

Give us accurate details, keep your sign-in secure and tell us straight away if you think someone else has access. You’re responsible for activity in your workspace.

You must be at least 18 and allowed to accept these terms for your company.

Plans and billing

Starter, Growth and Enterprise plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance. Free trials turn into paid plans unless you cancel before the trial ends.

You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of your billing period. We don’t refund partial periods unless the law requires it.

If prices change, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice before your next renewal.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Citewise to break the law, break the terms of any AI engine, track brands you have no right to monitor, overload our systems or copy, resell or reverse engineer the platform.

Your content

You own the brand data you add to Citewise. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service to you.

AI outputs

Citewise reports what AI engines say about your brand. We don’t control those engines, so we can’t guarantee citations, rankings or that their answers are accurate.

Agents draft fixes, briefs and pitches, and nothing goes live until someone on your team approves it. You’re responsible for what you publish.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Citewise available, but there may be planned maintenance or interruptions outside our control. We may add, change or retire features, and we’ll give notice before removing anything you rely on.

Ending your account

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and we’ll tell you why unless the law prevents it.

Liability

Citewise is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top of this page and tell you about significant changes by email before they take effect.
